FOLLOW DANILO IN REAL TIMEThis new adventure will take Danilo to Nepal on the eighth highest mountain in the world, in the heart of the Himalayan chain. A challenge of technical preparation for a solo climb in complete Alpine style without the aid of supplementary oxygen, among ice, snow and rock; a confrontation with himself to conquer the "Mountain of the Spirit".
ITINERARY GALLERY PRESS REVIEWIn Africa it will go beyond any type of human resistance mental and physical, trying to compete with himself in one of the wildest continents on the entire planet. He will go from the humid ocean waters, to the scorching heat of the central African expanses, to the perennial ice on the dome of Kilimanjaro.
ITINERARY GALLERY PRESS REVIEWThis adventure involves the solo climb, in complete Alpine style and without the aid of supplementary oxygen, of Shisha Pangma whose height places it as the fourteenth "eight thousand" and therefore the fourteenth highest mountain on Earth with its 8,027 meters of altitude.
ITINERARY GALLERYI will have to travel 380 nautical miles or 700 km in salty waters with an average temperature of around 2° C in the period foreseen for the crossing. The departure will be from Cape Deseado on Isla Desolacion on the Pacific Ocean and the arrival at Punta Dungeness which overlooks the Atlantic. The only supply stop is planned in Punta Arenas, approximately halfway through the route.
ITINERARY GALLERYOn October 4, 2012 I left to attempt the second one of my seven peaks: Elbrus. This mountain with its 5,642 meters of altitude is the highest peak in Europe. By plane I reached the base of the mountain and thus began the adventure. After climbing Elbrus and reaching the top, I returned to Italy by bicycle through Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Hungary and Slovenia, pedaling for 4,000 km. The entire project took place in 3 months, entering the central square of Pordenone on 22 December.
